First Post

Hello everyone, this is the official first post of my blog Mindset with Motion.

Now you may be wondering, “why did you choose this super corny name?” There is a good reason and I’ll explain

Basically, I’ve realized that in life there are so many things that you cannot control: your family, your heritage, your background, etc.

However, there are 2 things that you can ALWAYS control:

  1. Your everyday mindset (your approach to the world, your interactions with others)
  2. Your everyday effort (your energy you put into things)

Very early on in my life, I thought that with enough effort, I would be successful in anything I do! While this was very wishful thinking, I did accomplish a lot but not nearly as much as I wished. It wasn’t until near the end of college I realized that effort without direction is much worse because you are basically working super hard for no reason.

What I’ve now realized is that directed sustainable small wins over time will always beat high effort intensity with no direction.

With that in mind, this is why I created this blog. I want to teach anyone who reads this how to reach your objectives (school, career, externally, familial) with some daily sustained momentum.
